Club Activities & Leadership Experience

 Project Aduren Eliyata 

  During my university life I joined the Leo club and we did project call “Aduren Eliyata”my role was project coordinator.And the project was based on to repair a school and create library also give current to a village or a  local community center.As a project coordinator I had to lead my team like how to fund raised, managed time, settle bill payments and documents. We did several things to fund raise like sell bite packets, create a game zone call “playtopiya” ,call sponsorships and we earned total 700000 lakes to complete the project. 

       We select a school call “Kurunagala Migalawa Girathalana Galpitiya Maha Vidyalaya “.As we promised we rebuild the entire school and build mini library for them and the library we gather books form our university friends they give there old books for them. Now  teachers are called us give a feedback they study happily and freely. After that we give current to the local community center.during this projects I learned and gained experience to communicate with peoples ,work as a team, create & maintain bills and documents also the lead the team.This Leo journey helped me a lot to improve my soft skills.
